Alkaline Earth Metals: The elements Beryllium (Be), Magnesium (Mg), Calcium (Ca), Strontium (Sr), Barium (Ba) and Radium (Ra) constitute group 2 of the long form of the Periodic table and are collectively known as Alkaline earth metals or Alkaline earths.
