Relationship Between Molarity and Molality:

Molarity (M) = Molality (m) X Density (d)

We know that,

Molarity of a solution - Derivation of Relationship Between Molarity and Molality

Similarly,

Molality of solution - Derivation of Relationship Between Molarity and Molality

For, the same solutions, i.e., containing the same mass of solute in the same volume, divide equation (i) by equation (ii), and we get-
